Backstory

Life in Thyolo

Life in Thyolo was an amazing experience for me, I always used to hear so much of JR. Tolkien’s Lord Of The Rings being written as he travelled through Thyolo heading to the other parts of the Shire (I just wanted to throw in that part really).

I went to Thyolo visiting my mum’s relatives (my other family), I got there and first thing I could smell was the fresh air, first thing I could see was the green, first thing I could feel was the cold and the first thing I could hear was the beautiful southern language and it’s music (many parts of the southern region’s music contain their version of yodelling).

staying in a community fenced by long beautiful pine trees was breathtaking. Living among the beautiful tee fields was amazing.

Seeing the day to day lives of the different people was inspiring (I will share on the blog page so never forget to check it out for such).
